Seventy years ago today, Salt Lake City was starting to see some fuzzy images on television sets. After all, only 14 cities in America had TV at the time. Our Channel Four engineers were broadcasting test patterns under our experimental license, getting ready for the big day later in April that our station would go on the air for good as Utah’s First TV Station.
