As lake effect snow continues to fall across portions of the Wasatch Front, specifically Salt Lake and Davis Counties, cold overnight temperatures and the additional rounds of snow could lead to another rough commute for those traveling in and out of Salt Lake County Thursday morning.
Moderate to heavy snow will fall under these lake effect snow bands with snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches an hour leading to poor visibility and road snow to quickly accumulate.
A weak disturbance will usher in one more shot of snow for the Wasatch Front overnight tonight ending around the start of the morning commute.
Any untreated road will make for longer commutes to work or school as for the potential for dangerous winter driving conditions.
The areas of greatest impact include the Southern portion of Davis County, all of Salt Lake County and northern portions of Utah County.
