People outside the state of Utah often say, “There must be something in that Utah water. Everyone is so talented.” Utah is home to many musicians and people in the entertainment industry. Bands like Neon Trees, Imagine Dragons, The Used, and the Osmonds were all born straight outta Utah, and The Aces are no different.

This all-girl band signed their first record deal with Red Bull Records back in October of 2016 and just recently launched a new single entitled “Physical” on Spotify and iTunes. The Aces gained major momentum when their hit single, “Stuck” blew up last summer on Spotify with over 1 million streams. The band was mentioned on BuzzFeed, Nylon and the list continues. After opening for Tim McGraw at the Stadium of Fire last summer, there was no question that record deal offers would begin to trickle in for the band.

Band members, Cristal Ramirez (vocals, guitar), Katie Henderson (lead guitar and backup vocals), Mckenna Petty (bass) and Alisa Ramirez (drums) developed an early synergy when they started playing music together back when they were 12-years-old, performing hundreds of shows since at local Rooftop Concert Series and other venues in their home state.

“People always ask us how you manage to stay a band for this long. We’re all so close it’s like family,” says Cristal to Red Bull Records. “The band was such a big part of us growing up and our identity, you were never going to quit the band. That was just not a thing.”

The Aces have an up-beat whimsical sound with a contagious vibe that will undoubtedly get you on your feet. The future looks bright for The Aces with their projected album release this fall and packed tour schedule. Keep your eye on them because this group is on fire.
