It just got real, people. Starbucks just released their Unicorn Frappucino, and boy is it blowing up the Twitter Sphere. The drink is only here for a few days at participating stores and has a magical flavor that starts off sweet and fruity and turns pleasantly sour, according to Starbucks. The beverage is made with mango syrup and layered with sour blue drizzle. Swirling this drink will result in a color-changing spectacle of purple and pink. To make things better, the frap is topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with pink and blue fairy powders.
Although no one knows the reasoning for the release of the drink, it sure is making for funny conversations around the media.
According to the Washington Post, “Starbucks’ Unicorn Frappuccino tastes like sour birthday cake and shame.” Apparently drinking a purple and pink sprinkle drink is a shameful act.
Here’s what people are saying about the magical thirst-quencher.
