Alicia Keys came out with a single entitled “Hallelujah” with a powerful message around the global refugee crisis. The song is featured in a short-film called “Let Me In” directed by Johnathan Oliger, starring Keys where her fictional family attempts to flee from war-torn Southern California and gets separated in the process.
The video ends with a message saying, “There are more refugees in the world today than at any point in history. And more than half of them are children. We demand our governments act with love.”
