SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 Sports) – Utah junior wide receiver Raelon Singleton has announced he is leaving the team for family reasons. The Utes’ second-leading receiver in each of the last two years, Singleton has played in 34 games since his redshirt freshman season in 2015.

In the past two seasons as a starter, he made 63 receptions for 995 yards and eight touchdowns, while averaging nearly 16 yards per catch. For his career, he has 69 catches for 1,044 yards.

“We are sorry to see Raelon leave, but understand that his family comes first,” said head coach Kyle Whittingham. “We appreciate his contributions to our program over the last four years and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

Singleton is from Crosby, Texas.
