Olympus stays unbeaten in 5A boys basketball quarterfinals

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 Sports) – The Olympus High boys basketball run continues.

The Titans demolish Viewmont, 86-45, behind 24 points from Jeremy DowDell and a near triple-double from Rylan Jones, who had 16 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists, to stay undefeated at 25-0 this season.

Olympus will face Bountiful in the 5A semifinals on Friday. The Braves used a strong fourth quarter to pull away from Skyline, 80-62, as Camron Chism led the way with 21 points.

Matt Norman scored 34 points on 13 of 15 shooting, as Timpanogos beat East, 76-57. Next up for the Timberwolves will be Corner Canyon. The Chargers blew past Box Elder, 79-54, as Hayden Welling led the way with 19 points.

The semifinals will be played Friday afternoon at the Huntsman Center.
