Two of the principal dancers for the upcoming Ballet West production of Swan Lake join Midday to talk about their romantic story.
Beckanne Sisk, who performs the role of “Odette”, and Chase O’Connell, performing the role of “Prince Siegfried”, got engaged together after years of dancing together. The two now play the roles in the love narrative that Swan Lake tells.
O’Connell proposed earlier this year at the old Capitol Theatre studio where they first met.
The production of Swan Lake has a team of more than 60 dancers, 48 musicians, and 40 crew members.
The ballet has seven performances left including shows on Valentine’s Day.
