The Innovation Plaza at Dixie State opened a few weeks ago, but the university has been helping businesses in this aspect for a long time. Over 80 individuals have been able to file patents from hair curlers to software with the help of DSU.
One resource available to the public is one of the largest 3D printers in the western, which can create prototypes. Anyone can use the Innovation Plaza space and resources for $50 a month and cost of supplies.
