Zions Bank Makes $50K Donation to Camp Kostopulos

Salt Lake City (ABC4 UTAH)  A $50,000 donation on the 50th anniversary for Camp Kostopulos. 

On Friday, “Camp Kostopulos” announced how it will kick off its 50th anniversary celebration! And as it did that Zions Bank handed Camp K a $50,000 dollar check to help the Salt Lake City organization.
 
As for the 50th anniversary celebration – the camp is going to have a charity boxing match and gala event that features a visit from former Heavy Weight Champion of the world Riddick Bowe. 
 
Bowe will box one round each against Camp K CEO Mircea Divricean, ABC4 Anchor Don Hudson and Camp K COO Mike Divricean.
 
The night will include a dinner and entertainment and then conclude with the boxing matches. Salt Lake County Sheriff Jim Winder will referee the bouts and Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes is set to announce the event. 
 
Mike Divricean says “This if for the community, this is for the kids of Camp K, for the participants that we serve and it’s a fun night.” It will also raise money Camp K to help it continue to provide opportunities and services for those with disabilities in Utah and around the worl.
