Cottonwood Place is a newer senior living community situated in a residential area of Holladay.
Families are relieved when they come and tour Cottonwood Place because they walk into a hotel atmosphere, where they are greeted by a friendly staff member.
A key goal of Cottonwood Place is to allow residents to age in place. Some seniors move in and live very independently. They may even still drive or work a little, but their families have peace of mind that their loved one is being cared for. There is also a memory care community for residents who need extra support.
Senior living is a a social atmosphere that offers friendships that greatly decrease the risk of isolation. Cottonwood Place supports each resident by helping them stay physically active while avoiding falls and physical decline by keeping them mentally and physically engaged.
The activities program is called Vibrant Life, which is intended to create an exciting and purposeful experience for all the residents. There are at least six activities a day, 365 days per year.
Cottonwood Place also offers an app that shows families what their loved one is attending, and families can even receive pictures of the resident engaging in the event.
Cottonwood Place Senior Living is located at 5600 South Highland Drive in Holladay. (801) 947-7400.
