Washington City police seek bank robbery suspect

WASHINGTON CITY, Utah (News4Utah) Washington City police, surrounding agencies and the FBI are working to track down a man who robbed a bank Wednesday afternoon.

Police say around 3 p.m. a white man entered the Chase Bank at 715 West Telegraph and passed a handwritten note demanding money to the teller.

The suspect is described as a middle-aged white man, about 5 foot 10 inches tall and slender build.  He was further described as having an unshaven or “scruffy” face. He was wearing a black baseball cap, black running jacket, and shorts.  

After receiving money, the man headed eastbound away from the bank.  

No one was injured in the robbery.
