SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The gas leak has been shut off, according to the Salt Lake City Fire Department.

The road is still closed for now, but it should be reopened shortly, officials said.

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Crews responded to a ruptured underground gas line and busted water main in Salt Lake City Monday evening.

Travelers are asked to avoid 300 West between 900 and 1100 South as fire crews work on the repairs.

Traffic is significantly impacted, officials said.

The Salt Lake City Police Department is assisting with controlling traffic flows.

There is reportedly no estimated time when the repairs will be done.
