OGDEN, Utah (ABC4) — A motorcyclist died Friday night after colliding with a car in Ogden.

The Ogden Police Department said the collision happened around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Wall and 9th streets.

Investigators say a car traveling on Wall Street attempted to make a left turn onto 9th Street and didn’t see the motorcycle.

The vehicles collided, and the motorcyclist suffered major injuries, police said.

Emergency crews brought the motorcyclist to a hospital, where he died.

The motorcyclist’s name has not been released, but police said he was a 54-year-old man.

The driver stayed at the scene. There was no indication he was impaired, police said.

Roads remained closed in the area as crews investigate the crash.
