Utah’s Healing Field is Returning This September

A decade and a half have passed since the September 11, 2001 terror attacks. The Utah Healing Field, for the 15th time, will be posting US flags to commemorate the event and those who lost their lives.
Leading up to this coming 11th day of September, volunteers will post more than 3,000 U.S. flags on the lawns of the Sandy Promenade to honor the martyrs to world freedom who died that day.
Funds raised will benefit Labs 4 Liberty. The charity raises and train Labrador retrievers to be given as service dogs for wounded warriors.  They also help veterans and their families heal by providing vacation retreats for combat veterans and their families.
There will be a ceremony on Sunday September 11th at  5:30pm on the Field. It is free to attend. However the field is open for free the rest of the time the flags will be displayed.
Volunteers will be needed to collect all the flags on Monday Sept 12th 5:30pm.
