CEDAR CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – A Cedar City man is accused of attacking and mutilating a woman.
Brandon Lee Wall, 22, was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault.
According to a probable cause statement, Wall pushed the woman on the ground. Climbed on top of her, took a piece of broken glass and carved a “profane word” in her stomach.
Police say the victim reported the assault happened a few weeks prior, but officers saw scaring on her stomach consistent with her statements.
The woman told police she was 100% certain that Wall was the person that attacked her. “She clearly saw his face and head his voice as he spoke to her,” documents state.
Police say they responded to a separate incident where the victim said Wall had been to her home and threatened her. Wall was found a short time later, however police say he denied threatening and attacking the woman in the previous incident.
Wall was booked into the Iron County Jail.
