WWII aircraft make a rare appearance in St. George

ST. GEORGE, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – Today’s the day to thank our U.S. soldiers for their service. We celebrate ‘Armed Forces Day’.

The, entire, month of May is ‘Military Appreciation Month’.

The Texas T-6 trainer, airplane, got many pilots ready for bombing missions in World War II.

Saturday, folks at the St. George Airport got to see the T-6 in action and a few got to fly in it to learn what the training was like that the pilots went through.
