UPDATE: The Murry Hill Fire in Willard burned 211 acres and is 75 percent contained.
“The hope is to have full containment by end of shift tomorrow (June 11, 2017) at which time all crews will be released,” said Mitch Zundel with Box Elder County. ” Also, the plan is to release one crew tomorrow morning to help with the fire north in Portage.”

WILLARD, Utah (ABC4)-A wildfire in Box Elder County, which burned near Willard City and east of Highway 89, burned 211 acres and is 30 percent contained, officials estimate.
Fierce winds that reached up to 30 MPH contributed to the spreading of the fire on Friday evening.
85 firefighters are working in steep mountain terrain to fight the flames and to keep the blaze away from homes.
“Crews fought through the night on a limited basis and are now back in full force,” said Mitch Zundel, who is the Box Elder County director.
The fire sparked on Friday evening around 7:00 pm. after of a power line fell.
Box Elder County will have a better estimate of how large the Murry Hill Fire is around 1 pm on Saturday.
