SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – Attention couch potatoes, people in bad shape and getting a little older, Smith’s Ballpark is the place to be this weekend.

It’s the ‘E-Bike Expo’. Electronic, battery powered bikes that combine pedaling and motor power.

They’ve got all kinds of e bikes on display that you can test ride. You can get to work without breaking a sweat.

Van Nguyen, of Tempo Bicycles, told Good4Utah “For those that can’t go long distances, now all of a sudden, distance isn’t a barrier anymore. An E-Bike can get you 30 to40 miles on a full charge. Some can even go over 50.”

Then can cost a few thousand dollars, but they save on gas and help clean up our air pollution.

The free expo continues Sunday at Smith’s Ballpark from 10am to 5pm.
