Utahns take part in the 6th International March Against Monsanto

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – A handful of protestors at the state capitol today in a march against Monsanto.

They’ve joined thousands around the world today protesting genetically modified seeds.  Also the use of a herbicide may be Monsanto that we all use to control weeds.

Monsanto Protestor, Marla Mott-Smith says “The big culprit is Roundup, which is a chemical that some states, I understand and heard today that California has legislated that it will be labeled. It could be a carcinogenic.”

They claim roundup gets into the food chain and has even been found in mother’s breast milk.
