GRANTSVILLE, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – It was a 16th birthday that a girl from West Point will never forget.
Anna Pascoe got to ride a hot lap in a Mustang GT courtesy of Utah Motorsports Campus in Grantsville.
Anna suffers from a severe seizure disorder that has limited her ability to talk and do things other kids her age can do.
Anna’s mother, Jeanette Pascoe, told Good4Utah “Anna won’t ever be able to drive on her own. She has enough disabilities that that will never occur. But we figure on her 16th birthday, rather than mourning that, we want to celebrate what she can do. So we are just so excited for her to have this chance and have a wonderful, fun, 16th birthday.”
Anna’s parents have created fundraising account at www.youcaring.com/annasangels . They’re trying to raise money to get her a service dog that can detect the onset of a seizure before it happens.
