Sheep take over streets of Cedar City

CEDAR CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – One of the most unique parades in the country happened today in Cedar City.

Wild and Wooly would be a good description for it. Over a thousand sheep went through downtown in the Annual Sheep Parade that dates all the way back to 1870.

Sheep from the Nelson family follow the historic Cedar Livestock Trail from Cedar Mountain to their winter home in the Cedar Valley.

It is the highlight of the annual Cedar Livestock and Heritage Festival.
