WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – There was a solemn Memorial Day service at the Utah Cultural Center in West Valley.
They do this every year. The Vietnamese community remembering the U.S. soldiers and Vietnamese who died before the fall of Saigon in 1975.
Thao Huyns, of the Viertnamese Community of Utah, told Good4Utah “American veterans, Vietnamese veterans spent a lot of time for the country and died for the country. And I really appreciate them , remember them and whatever they have done for the country.”
They burned incense and prayed for the soldiers and civilians who lost their lives during the Vietnam War.
