WASHINGTON, DC (ABC4 News) – The United States government just moments ago, shut down. Or, at least, parts of it anyway.
Tension has been building in Washington all week-long as lawmakers tried to pass a bill that would fund the government and no deal was struck.
As of 10pm mountain time parts of the government have shut down meaning more than 380,000 federal employees face furloughs and unpaid time off.
This includes employees working for National Parks and potentially TSA agents at airports across the country.
