Multiple agencies respond to crash near SR-201

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – Multiple agencies responded to a multi-vehicle accident that occurred just after 5 p.m. this evening near SR-201 at 3200 West. 

According to police, the driver of truck was trying to turn onto SR-201 when the minivan, which was traveling down 3200 West, collided with it.

The truck was occupied by a student driver and an instructor, both of which are in stable condition.

There were three people in the minivan as well that were taken to local hospitals. Two adults and a  4-year-old boy were taken to IMC Hospital and Primary Children’s Hospital, respectively, in critical condition but have been upgraded to stable condition

The westbound on-ramp to SR-201 remains closed as crews remain on scene to clean up and investigate. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and take an alternate route if possible.
