Memorial Day events around the State of Utah to be held Monday

UTAH (ABC4 News) – Looking for something to do on Memorial Day? Here is a list of some of the ceremonies, events and happenings going on around the State of Utah on Monday,

Herriman Breakfast and Ceremony: A breakfast starts the day at Main Street Park located at 5900 Muzzle         Loader Drive and runs from 7 to 11 a.m. A ceremony is also being held at the Herriman City Cemetery from       9 to 10 a.m.

WWI Monument dedication: An event to honor six service members who died in a plane crash in 1943 in           Wayne County will be held at 8 a.m. on Main Street in Loa, Utah

St. George Memorial Service: 8 a.m. at SunRiver, 1390 Morane Manor Drive.

Orem City Memorial Day service: 9-10 a.m. at Orem City Cemetery, 1520 N 800 East.

Ft. Douglas Memorial Day events: 9:30 a.m. a march will be held from Fort Douglas Museum Memorial               Park to Fort Douglas Ceremony and at 10 a.m. ceremony at the Fort Douglas Cemetery, 32 Potter St in               Salt Lake City

Provo Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Provo Cemetery, 610 S. State.

Wasatch Lawn Annual Memorial Day Service: 10 a.m at 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City. 

Senator Hatch Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Larkin Sunset Gardens,  1950 East 10600 South. Sandy. 

Valley View Memorial Celebration at 10 a.m. 4335 West 4100 South in West Valley City.

Harmon’s Memorial day grilling event at various locations around Utah: 12 to 5 p.m. “Gouda Burgers” being grilled for the official start of summer event.

Cowboy Legends Music and Poetry Festival on Antelope Island: Runs until 6 p.m. and includes activities, food, poetry and vendors. 

West Jordan Memorial Tribute 7p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 7800 South 1885 West.
