Male body found in South Salt Lake creek

SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – South Salt Lake Police recovered a body from a creek Sunday afternoon.

Police were called to the area of 135 West 2950 South around 4:30pm. A business owner noticed the body floating in Mill Creek and immediately called police. Officials tell us the body is a male.

Authorities believe the body floated downstream and had been in the water for some time before being discovered.

At this time this is no word on the identity of the body or a cause of death.
