Fire in Box Elder burned structures

DEWEYVILLE, Utah (ABC4) – A fire that threatened structures in the town of Deweyville in Box Elder County is now completely contained. 

The fire spread 5.5 acres and burned a 4-wheeler trailer, motorcycle, two lawn mowers and a snowmobile. 

The fire began around 9 am. Officials believe the cause was human-related. 

Garland, Tremonton, and Fielding fire departments were on the scene and were able to fight the fire quickly and efficiently, said Mitch Zundel with Box Elder County.
