WEBER COUNTY, Utah (ABC4 News) – Firefighters spent hours battling a large fire at a barn in Weber County Thursday night.
The fire started just after 9 p.m. near 6061 West 900 South. The barn was full of big hay bails, stacked over 30 feet tall.
11 units and 20 people helped battle the blaze. The building started to collapse while crews were working to extinguish the fire.
The fire was eventually contained and there is currently no threat of the fire spreading, however, crews remained on scene throughout the night as the fire continued to burn.
1200 South was closed for nearly 3.5 hours.
A cause has yet to be determined and no estimate on damages.
