WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah)- Two men are behind bars after police say they stabbed an employee at Valley Fair Mall.

It happened Saturday night.

According to a police report, 18-year-old Stratford Jones and 20-year-olds Kyler Cozad and Shawn Begay walked into the mall and began arguing with the victim, a food worker at the mall.

The fight escalated and the employee was punched multiple times and ultimately stabbed in the back. 

Police say he had up to eight puncture wounds.

When officials arrived to break up the fight, the three suspects fled but were later caught.

They face charges of starting a riot and aggravated assault resulting in serious injury.
