SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – The 25th annual Care Fair just wrapped up at the Horizonte School on Main Street and thousands of people are a little healthier tonight.

For the past two days, free medical and dental care have been offered at all five floors of the school.

The Junior League puts on the yearly event and it’s free to anyone with no paperwork required.

Everything from physical exams to mental health evaluations were given and the league is literally saving lives.

Vicki Harder, with the Junior League, told Good4Utah, “We have caught 3 or 4 individuals that had serious, life-threatening high blood pressure. We’ve also had some very high glucose indications as well.”

The league started out 25 years ago giving free immunizations to a few hundred kids. This year they will have served well over three thousand children and adults.
