LAYTON, Utah (ABC4 Utah) –  UPDATE: Police say Samuel Reed was taken into custody in Salt Lake City without incident Monday evening. He will be booked into the Davis County Jail.

Layton Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in an aggravated robbery that occurred on Sunday.

Police are looking for 28-year-old Samuel Reed, who was last seen in the Ogden area wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt. He is around 6 feet tall and weighs 220 pounds.

According to police, Reed and an accomplice – 26-year-old Keisha Majoris – stole Reed’s ex-girlfriend’s car at gunpoint after they got in an argument. Reed and Majoris sped off in the victim’s car with Majoris behind the wheel.

The pair later returned to return items to the victim but Reed and his ex-girlfriend got into another argument and left in the car again.

Ogden Police found Majoris and she was booked into the Davis County Jail on aggravated robbery charges along with eight counts of unlawful acquisition of a financial transaction card and possession of identifying documents belonging to another person.

Police are still looking for Reed, who is also wanted by several different jurisdictions, including the U.S. Marshals service.

Layton Police say Reed is most likely armed and dangerous. If you see him or have any information as to his whereabouts, you are asked to call Layton Police at 801-497-8300. In an emergency, dial 911.
