1 dead, 2 injured from dirt bike head-on crash

RICH COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) – A man is dead and two more were hospitalized after a dirt bike collided with a motorcycle in approximately two miles up the South Eden Canyon in Rich County around 8:30 pm on Saturday. 

A male and female in a side-by-side were traveling a trail when they collided head-on into another dirt bike, driven by 46-year-old Brad Williams from Box Elder County. 

A 37-year-old male from Box Elder County, Shelby Secrist, was injured and transported via air to an Ogden hospital. A 45-year-old female from Box Elder County, Jerri Inman, was injured and transported via ground to a Logan hospital.

The incident is being investigated jointly by Utah State Parks and the Rich County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation is ongoing.
