“Rings” is pretty much what you’d expect, a lackluster, silly and faded copy of the original.
It gets a D and is rated PG-13
The Space Between Us
The first human born on Mars travels to Earth for the first time, experiencing the wonders of the planet through fresh eyes. He embarks on an adventure with a street smart girl to discover how he came to be as he searches for his missing father.
“The Space Between Us” begins as high concept space drama but then quickly degenerates into a sloppy coming-of-age road trip that winds up a predictable, sloppy millennial mess. That is both awkward for the audience as well as the actors.
“The Space Between Us” just can’t get off the ground. It gets a D and is rated PG-13.
