SALT LAKE CITY, UT (ABC4UTAH) — It will be a fight to remember.
Camp Kostopulos charity boxing match is Tuesday at 6:30 with our own Don Hudson and two time heavy weight champ Riddick Bowe.
The two face off in the ring in this historic charity event.
Also part of the Camp K dream team putting on the boxing gloves will be leaders of the non-profit organization Mike and Mircea Divricean.
Mike Divricean, “It’s for the kids. I’d love to throw one punch I hope will not trigger a few punches and a knock out.”
Mircea Divricean, “we’ve worked on our feet moves, some dance moves.”
500 people are expected at the event including Salt Lake County Sheriff Jim Winder will serve as referee and Attorney General Sean Reyes will serve as announcer.
Proceeds will go to Camp K’s year round education programs for children and adults with disabilities and special needs.
The question many of you might be wondering, will Don throw in the towel?
Don Hudson, “I’m hoping to survive and when I’m done I hope I look more like this and that my nose isn’t over here or over there that’s my plan.”
The event takes place at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek at 6:30 Tuesday night.
