GARFIELD COUNTY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) The 17-year-old suspect accused of attacking and killing a employee at a youth rehabilitation facility was charged Friday.
Clay Brewer, 17, is charged with criminal homicide/ aggravated murder, a first degree felony in the death 61-year-old Jimmy Woolsey, an employee at Turn-About Ranch near Escalante.
Brewer also faces charges of attempted homicide, aggravated robbery, theft, reckless endangerment and among other related charges.
Garfield County Sheriff’s Office says Brewer attacked Woosley Tuesday morning. When he was confronted by another employee, he allegedly assaulted her and stole a vehicle. Law Enforcement officials say he led deputies on a chase through Escalante before he crashed and they were able to take him into custody.
