Talking new Local Birthing Center: Jacuzzi, Catered Meal, and Private Room

LOGAN, UT (ABC4UTAH) — Cache Valley Hospital is delivering some exciting news.
The Women’s Center is now pen for business and ready to provide mom’s with the best child birth experience in town.
It’s been 9 months in the making and now a 9,000 square foot birthing center is ready for deliveries.

Chelsie Farmer is one of the first patients at the new Women’s Center at Cache Valley Hospital.
She’s preparing for baby number two at 36 weeks.
Her special day will be in the comfort of one of 6 spacious suites equipped with personal one on one nursing care

There’s a lactation room once baby is born, a jacuzzi for moms who need to take the weight off and relax for a bit, a pullout couch for dad, a glider rocker for bonding with baby and much more.

Farmer, “They’ve thought of every detail to dinner with your spouse to free newborn pictures.”

They provide a free photo session and yes, even a catered meal to celebrate the big day.
 
The Women’s Center has state of the art equipment, convenience, and comfort all under one roof and on the same floor and sometimes all in one room.
Christie Gaz, Director of Women’s Services at Cache Valley Hospital, “offering labor, deliver, recover and post partum all in the same room. You don’t have to move to another floor or another unit after you’ve had your baby.”
