ST. GEORGE, Utah (News4Utah) – Police in St. George are fed up with the recent spike in crashes around the city.

“We’re not doing a very good job people,” said St. George Police Department Officer Andy Mickelson told Newsradio 94.9/890 KDXU St. George.

Police say the city is nearing 400 crashes already for 2018. Many of the crashes are happening on or near Bluff Street due to ongoing construction in the area.

Police remind drivers they need to pay attention to the road and increase the distance between themselves and the car in front.
