Cedar High School one step closer to mascot change

CEDAR CITY (ABC4 News)-Cedar High School is one step closer to getting a new mascot.

Tuesday night the Cedar High School Mascot Committee voted 17-7 in favor of changing the school’s mascot. 

The final decision will be up to the Iron County School Board. They meet on January 22nd.

Cedar High has been known as “The Home of the Redmen” since the 1940s.
