AMERICAN FORK CANYON, Utah (News4Utah) – At least one person was caught in an avalanche in the mountains of Utah County Tuesday afternoon.
Utah Avalanche Center reported a snowmobiler was caught in a slide in the Major Evans Gulch area of American Fork Canyon.
The avalanche was reported as 3 feet deep and 500 feet wide.
A Twitter post by the Utah Avalanche Center indicates the person was not injured in the incident.
