Small plane crashes in Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY (ABC4 News) – Emergency crews responded to a small plane crash Friday.

Federal Aviation Administration officials said Piper PA-12 aircraft flipped over while attempting to land on a snow-packed private airstrip about 30 miles northeast of St. George. 

Authorities said two people were on board the aircraft and there were no injuries reported.

The exact cause of the crash is under investigation by the FAA.
