SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) A man is dead after a skiing accident at Snowbird Ski Resort Wednesday morning. 
 
A Snowbird resort spokesperson says a member of ski patrol found Daryl Norton, 54, of Millcreek unresponsive on Chip’s Run. 
 
Norton was found alone with an unwitnessed injury. Ski patrol began rendering first aid to the skier who was eventually airlifted off the run. 
 
Unified Police Department confirmed the man died as a result of his injury. 
 
Norton is described as an experienced skier and familiar with the area. Police say “at this time it is unknown if his death was caused by trauma or a medical issue.”
