ST. GEORGE, Utah (News4Utah) Police in St. George are searching for a missing man, who’s not been seen in about 11 days.
Russell Hanks, 72, was last seen on October 6, walking toward the area of Christensen Park, that’s in the Bloomington section of the city.
Authorities said he may have been heading for the Virgin River where it meets the Sun River subdivision, for perspective, that’s not far from Arizona state line, perhaps around a mile or two at the most.
Search and rescue crews are now involved in the search.
Authorities would not give specific details about where they are searching, but one investigator did say they were acting on a tip.
