UPDATE: Thursday morning police confirmed McKenzie has been found. They say she was in a church in Enterprise and is safe.

Sgt. Jaron Studley with Santa Clara Police told News4Utah’s Lauren Matthias two people have been taken into custody for “aiding and abetting her”.

According to the Washington County Booking site, 18-year-old Lydia Probst and 18-year-old Diego Jasper Wellhoff are facing a charge of obstruction of justice and harboring a runaway.

Police say Wellhoff and another suspect were located in Snow Canyon Park Thursday morning.

Probst was reportedly found in Diamond Valley as she was returning home, police say.  The third suspect was arrested on a warrant.

News4Utah is working to gather more information. Details will be posted as they become available.

SANTA CLARA (News4Utah) – A southern Utah family needs help finding their missing teen.

McKenzie Scholzen was last seen in Santa Clara Monday night. She told her stepmom she was going for a quick walk and never returned.

“She’s the prettiest little thing. She looks just like her late mother,” said her dad Jeff Scholzen.

Jeff Scholzen says his daughter McKenzie walked out their door at 7 pm saying she wanted to clear her head, and left everything in her bedroom.

“I want everyone to help any way they can. I just want her home,” said Jeff.

“Trying to track down leads, Identifying the last people that have been in contact with her that have seen her,” said Sgt Jaron Studley with Santa Clara-Ivins Police Department.

Police say she is endangered and say they need the public’s help finding the teen.

Her dad says McKenzie has suffered from mental illness but has never run away.

“She’s never done anything like this. She’s never been away from home overnight where we don’t know where she’s at,” said Jeff.

“There have been issues in the past regarding her mental health, so those are definitely some big concerns of ours,” said Studley.

“I’m just very grateful for everyone who is reaching out and people sharing it all over the United States. It’s been tremendous and I’m very grateful,” said Jeff.

McKenzie has blonde hair, is 5’ tall and weighs around 130 pounds.

If you see her, you’re asked to call the Santa Clara-Ivins Police Department at (435) 652-1122 or Washington County dispatch at (435) 634-5730.
