SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) A Salt Lake City restaurant is helping Police Wives of Utah.

Beginning at 11 Monday morning, R&R Barbecue was at the Salt Lake City Police Department and Utah Highway Patrol Office giving out free sandwiches and gathering donations for the organization.

“Whenever an officer gets hurt when they need funds for anything the police wives need.  It’s actually for our four year anniversary, so for every year we’ve been open, we’re donating 100 sandwiches,” said Roger Livingston with R&R.

R&R BBQ provided 400 free sandwiches Monday. Police Wives of Utah is a non-profit organization that supports Utah law enforcement and their families.
