SafeUT App to Aid in Suicide Prevention Among Utah’s Youth

FanXperience opened its doors Thursday afternoon. The crowd will only get bigger as the weekend gets started.
Along with all the fun, we’re talking about keeping Utah kids safe. 
 
State Senator Daniel Thatcher is sponsoring a new app to aid in suicide prevention. Thatcher says in Utah the number cause of death for kids between the ages of 10 and 17 is suicide. 
 
SafeUT is a free app that can connect you to a licensed clinical social worker at the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute.
