Roads reopen in Cottonwood Heights after bomb scare

COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS (ABC 4 Utah)- A suspected explosive device was found at a US Forestry building, police say.

Monday around 11 a.m., Cottonwood Heights police closed North and South bound traffic on 3000 East and 6900 S. 

Unified Fire bomb squad was on scene attempting to remove the device. 

Just after noon police re-opened the road and deemed the area safe.
