Point of the Mountain Development Commission seeks public input

Inside Utah Politics

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 Utah) – The Point of the Mountain is one of the biggest development projects in the country. As the state prison prepares to make it’s move to Salt Lake City, the Point of the Mountain will undergo a massive update.

Co-chair of The Point of the Mountain Development Commission Christopher Conabee stops by Inside Utah Politics to discuss the possible options, and explain how you can help shape the final result.

“We developed 5 scenarios and then presented those scenarios last week in public meetings. There were about 150 to 200 people at each meeting. Our goal is to get this survey that we’re asking for people to take now to the 10,000 mark so we get good feedback on it,” Said Conabee.

He also talks about the commissions background and what’s at stake with each individual option.
