More women are filing to run for office in Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (News4Utah) – More women are filing to run for office this year in the state of Utah. According to the Hinckley Institute of Politics there has been a 50% increase in women filing for state house, senate and congressional races.  

District 36 Representative Patrice Arent and former State Representative Holly Richardson join this weeks Inside Utah Politics Panel to discuss this shift in the world of politics and why it’s important for the state.

They also discuss some of Mitt Romney’s recent comments about immigration and two of the bills to be vetoed the governor within the last week.
