Police seek information after Southern Utah park vandalized

News

PAROWAN, Utah (ABC4 News)-The Parowan Police Department is investigating after they say vandals caused about $2,500 worth of damage to Lions Park Sunday.

Surveillance video appears to show a pickup truck pulling children around areas of the park which are snow covered but would otherwise be grass fields.

Police then say the pickup made a number of donuts in the fields before leaving. Damage is primarily to the landscaping and embedded irrigation sprinklers.

If caught, the suspects could face vandalism charges, but police are most interested in having the party who did this pay for the damage.
